What Happened to May

Halifax Real Estate Agent Thomas Bagogloo in Toronto for RE/MAX KickStart Sales Rally

Compelling Client EP HVAC in New Orleans for International Workboat Show

I've recently started working with a new client - Kevin Downs and his company EP HVAC of Bedford, NS. I met Kevin at the 10th Annual RCS Golf Invitational back in September, and he was looking for a new corporate image for EP HVAC and a new web site.

EP HVAC specializes in marine HVAC engineering, project management and construction, and has a diverse international clientele in the offshore and marine-based industries, in both the public and private sectors.Currently, they're in the process of finalizing their ISO 9001 quality program certification.

It's been an exciting two months developing the EP brand and site, and an even more exciting time for EP HVAC. They've become a truly international marine HVAC organization - opening a new offices in The Netherlands and Montreal, and expanding with a strategic purchase of an existing company in Beaumont, Texas. Now with four offices in three countries and two continents - they can go wherever their clients need them to be.

 

And this week, some of the EP HVAC team are in New Orleans, Louisiana for the 2008 International Workboat Show. They'll be meeting partners and clients, and passing out their new business cards and post cards. And hanging a big banner.

And a special thanks to Gord Gamble at MinuteMan Press - Bayers Lake for his quick and professional service in taking care of a last-minute printing job. Gord and MMP Halifax are my go-to printers in Halifax.

Thank You, Compelling Clients and Friends

The Great Big Dig for the IWK took place last Saturday, and I have some thank you's to give out: 

So...

Thanks to Chrissy Nickerson of CN Fine Art. Chrissy has been a friend and client for many years, and she donated a beautiful painting for the silent auction. Chrissy is extremely talented and her work was a popular item - it sold for $1000!

Thanks also to Relax Dinner Parties. Relax is a new catering company that specializes in stress-free dinner parties, a new client for Compelling, and one of the chef-owners is my brother Adam. Relax donated a six course dinner party for eight - valued at $1000 - that was bid up to $1300! Thanks Adam and Geoff, you're item was a hit.

I'd also like to thank John Abbass of Econo Color Photo. John donated a framed print of Moxham Castle in Sydney, a popular item with many of the Capers at the event. Thanks John!

A great big thanks also goes out to the Nova Scotia Community College, Academic Chair Gary MacNeil, and Chef Instructor Deb Connors for their donation of a cooking class for six taught by a culinary arts instructor. Also a popular auction item with the crowd, the NSCC cooking class sold for $700!

The Great Big Dig could not have been so successful with the generous support of the folks above, and the 100+ businesses, organizations and volunteers that came together for this special night and special cause.

Halifax Real Estate Video Passes 10,000 Views on YouTube

One of the first video I uploaded to YouTube was on behalf of a client, Halifax real estate agent Thomas Bagogloo and The Bagogloo Real Estate Team. It's called Halifax, Nova Scotia: Picture Perfect.

It was added to YouTube on October 22, 2006 - and in just over two years, it's had 10,000 views!

70% of the views have come in the last 12 months. And with the stats provided by the site, even more insights can, and have been gained.

In total, The Bagogloo Team Channel has had 1,700 page views and their videos/slideshows have been viewed over 16,000 times.

Yay for free distribution.

Music For Good presents Music For All in Halifax - July 26 and 27

Just launched a new site for Music For Good Society - a Halifax based not-for-profit organization that helps local artists and other worthy causes.

One such example is Oxfam. On July 26 and 27, Music For Good will host two nights of benefit shows called Music For All - and it's all for Oxfam and their Public Services For All campaign.
